Can Xapas is in a converted 1930s cinema on what passes for the High Street in the small town of Cornella del Terri. Easy to find. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. No problem for Catalan or English speakers. The food was beautiful to the eye and impeccably fresh. Delicious and inventive combinations. We went for the €60 menu and it was more than enough. The €40 was essentially the same but needed hard choices. The tomato and fig salad was spectacular. The baccala was perfectly cooked. All other courses exceeded expectations. Great wine list with lots of local options.

Excellent meal out, the restaurant is in an old art deco cinema which has a great atmosphere. The sharing dishes were all great and the lamb and paella also very good. They also have a good wine list and were very happy to recommend reasonably priced bottles.

We tried the 'Menú Degustació' and it was excellent, from start to finish. It is great that they use local products and that they combine a varied use of flavours that work great together. Very reasonably priced for the quality and the service you get. I would totally recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a unique food experience to visit can Xapes!

What a gem in the most unexpected place. A converted old cinema this restaurant really delivered inventive and tasty food. Friendly enthusiastic staff well worth a visit

Incredible. Very nice food and place. Quick serving of the food and an excellent presentation of the dishes. Tables adecuately separated. You can hear your table and not the others. We got the "Cinema" menu and the dishes were very nice.

Este restaurante es incredible! The setting, a refurbished movie theatre, is beautiful. The food is beyond anything I have ever experienced. Creative presentation and delicious combinations that make the meal superior. Highly recommended this as a stop for any trip to Catalunya.
